New crystal and copper shrine series in production... So far not a complete disaster! Wax pictured here was lost. I managed to salvage the copper and re-cast, so if at first you don't succeed... try try again. Everything is on hold and in storage in Ireland until I return, I may move on to other castings here in SF. This technique is still experimental, but has produced AMAZING results in the past. This time around, I captured some of the coloration that occours as the glass and copper react at high temperature. The glass was waterford crystal, and I retained a bit of the transparency in order to see the inside face of the copper. It is in pieces awaiting assembly.
